Last Vortex Cabaret of the Month this Thursday, January 28th

The Vortex Cabaret is a live variety show put on for the benefit of the many excellent and innovative performers in the Asheville area. It happens every Thursday night from 9 PM to 1 AM at 11 Grove St, above Scandals. We have comedy, drama, music, burlesque, and straight-up surrealism, plus a whole lot more.
This week, we feature an exhibition by local artist Allysa Oliver. There's also stand-up comedians from the Tomato Tuesdays group, dramatic readings from Trevor of Firestorm Cafe, and the best in Asheville's underground music scene.
Admission to the Vortex Cabaret is $5, and ages 18+. We charge a cover because we believe in paying artists. For more information on the Vortex Cabaret, and to subscribe to updates, please visit our website at
