Win a $2400 Painting at Spookypalooza

In the biggest donation in Blogapalooza history, BlogAsheville fan/blogger/painter Genie Maples donated one of her creations to our upcoming social media blast. Genie is represented by Echo Gallery and her painting, which is utterly bloody gorgeous if we say so ourselves, is valued at $2400.

That's an image of the actual painting above. It's titled The Home You Ain't Got, and it's 24X24, oil on canvas. More about the painting here (link to Genie's blog).

We're splitting up our raffles (more about other prizes here -- and they are pretty fabulous). Genie's painting will be raffled off separately, and tix are $5 and available now.

Other raffle prizes include local pottery from Greg Vineyard, two loaves of artisan bread, tix to the new comedy club... Good stuff!

To purchase a ticket for the painting raffle, call Genie at 828-273-8426. You can also buy tickets at Genie's Visual Poetry Studio at 122 Riverside Drive, Studio G, or at Spookypalooza this Friday night. Checks can be made out to Homeward Bound.

The drawing is at Spookyblogapaloozananny 2009, this Friday at the Phil Mechanic. You have to be present to win the other raffles, but you don't have to be present to win Genie's painting.

Thank you Genie!
