This Wednesday, at the Boiler Room on 11 Grove St, there will another edition of one of the most interesting regular live shows in Asheville: The Vortex Cabaret. Dedicated to showcasing the bleeding edge of performance art in Asheville, this week's Vortex will feature hard-rocking bands Traxx and The Wrong Hands, comedians Mike Roach and Sister Discordia, and burlesque acts Bombs Away Cabaret and pole-dancer Cara Oshiver.
The Vortex Cabaret: It must be seen to be believed. Come early, drink often. Doors open at 9 PM, show starts at 10 PM. Admission is $5.
