Alas dear BlogAshevillians, it seems that our attempt to outdo the local BrewGrass festival is not meeting with the enthusiasm that we had hoped for. Frank & I thought that our decision to provide a case of Miller beer and sing the entire Carter Family Songbook in drag at our less than tidy country home would blow that event out of the water but sadly, no.
We are currently in consultation over an alternate plan and will keep you posted. Enjoy the day and we hope to see y'all soon.

Aack! The same day as Brewgrass?
I think quite a few people are going to have a Brewgrass conflict...
I'm thinking maybe we should reschedule this. I'd rather not have folks driving out to our place for a party after spending the day at a brew festival.

those of us not going to brewgrass could do a practice run this sat., test the waters, rehearse. any day is ok w/ me.

I was regrettably going to have to miss this Saturday as well. Not for Brewgrass Festival, but for an equally brew-a-licious VW bus campout. Whenever you reschedule the soiree for, I'm there.
Okay, I can understand why you don't want me, tipsy, in a dirty ball gown and a crooked tiara, showing up at your country home. Although I can now sing all the songs from High School Musical for your entertainment.
Actually, I'm thrilled that I'll have two Saturdays to comtemplate beer and friends and music!
