Got any more info, Ash?

Why'd they close?
Where're they going?
Who's moving in?
Why that awful yellow paint job just before closing up shop?

Uptown and I walked by it yesterday, and we assumed they were renovating. Too bad, I have many fond high school memories there.

that is just sad...

I think they had to move because they stinked up the place and town with their filthy hippie garbage. I am trying to contact the owner to finance a Starbucks at that location. It would be perfect!

umm, I doubt if you could teach the filthy hippystreets or Lexington Queer Festival folks to kill anything but drugs. Starbucks is still the best choice I think, I'm looking for a return on investment.

Max and Rosies and now Beanstreets? It's been a bad month! That was the very first place o' business I entered in A'ville oh so many years ago. Damn... I so fear corporate trash downtown now.

I knew things were going the way of the buffalo when the coffee god from San Fran left the joint (not left a joint...left the Cafe). He's the only guy I knew who could make a "dry" Latte Macchiato the correct way (not the carmalized-diabetes-inducing-thingy served at Starbucks).

I'm gonna really miss the Al Pacino (I believe that's the triple shot Future Daddy was referring to).

Oh no, I didn't know. What a shame - on both fronts. I love Beanstreets.
