Fine Time

spent yesterday afternoon at blogasheville gathering in the country. most enjoyable to meet a few more folks and get to know everyone a little better. screwy hoolie and uptown ruler's instincts were sound when they envisioned getting this variegated group together. i haven't felt so comfortable in a social setting in a long time. everything takes time, and i hope to maintain contact and let a thousand flowers bloom.

Frank & I would like to express how much we enjoyed having y'all out on Saturday. Great fun - great food - great conversation. We enjoy and appreciate the honesty and integrity exhibited in your various and sundry forms of online pontification.

For those of you who couldn't make it, we look forward to meeting you at the next do. We were sorry to hear of your sad news Edgy Mama. We'll meet some day I'm sure.

A couple of asides... I am in wrongful possession of a CD entitled, "the former yugoslavia discard." If it belongs to you, let me know and I'll get it back to you.

Uptown Ruler, I can't figure out how to contact you through this site. Perhaps you could drop me an e-mail to let me know what to do.

Anyway, we look forward to seeing all of you soon. If you are on the fence about taking it offline and actually meeting face to face, don't be. This is an incredible group of people and you'll fit right in.

oh, that "discard" cd? that was mine, something that my old musical project did early last year, very much in the same sort of musique concrete vein as christian marclay and philip jeck... i brought two copies, one for chris to take home with him, and another for someone else that i forgot who it was... you can go ahead and either keep it or maybe pass it along to someone who might enjoy it.
