Last night's second Asheville Bloggers meetup was another resounding success, as Ashvegas, Modern Peasant, Mr. and Mrs. Syntax, Mr. and Mrs. 1000 Black Lines, yours truly, Edgy Mama and her envirospouse all gathered to eat delcious South American fusion cuisine at Tomato Cosina Latina.
It's a strange phenomenon that allows people of disparate backgrounds and interests to come together due to the blogging medium and genuinely enjoy each other.
Asheville Bloggers are growing in numbers, and our community is growing in strength. We're going to start a regular meetup on a specified day of the month in a specified location.
Please make your nominations for date, time, and location in the comments section below!
Also, Ashvegas is all over Bele Chere. This is the best on-the-spot Bele Chere coverage anywhere. Thanks Ash.

Nice photos, Ash. And to all of you, nice synopses of the evening. Great to meet all of you (and significant others).
Uptown, Tomato was delicious! Good rec.
No one else has made nominations, so I'll suggest one that we discussed: last Friday of each month, Usual Suspects, 7 p.m.
Last Friday of the month, Usual Suspects (that's in North Ashville on Merrimon Ave.), 7pm sounds great.
August 26th is the last Friday in the month.
Any other choices?
Oops, I just realized that I'll be out of town then--also, isn't there an event August 20th? Given that, perhaps we should postpone the US get-together until the last Friday in September?
...hmmmmm...
The 8/20 gathering isn't solid yet. I'll contact JJenk and find out the score...
