And The Winners Are...

Barely moving. Rach whooped up flapjacks and coffee, or else I wouldn't in front of this screen right now. Is it always this bright? Someone's going to give all y'all a full wrap-up of the festivus. I'm just here to let you know who won what. Special thanks to Kyle and Jennifer for hosting, to Errington Thompson for donating all that good food, and to Sirius.B for really making it happen into the night. Raspberries to Dogfish Festina Peche Bruisin' Ales for the really stupid keg of bullshit they fed us. for being so nasty.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Sorry I couldn't make it, but I hope to meet some of you folks in the near future. I do have to ask about the keg. I read in one of the writeups that it was peach. My guess is that it was a Dogfish Head Festina Peche, which is an interesting beer but probably not going to be everyone's cup of tea, as it is very peachy and sour. I'm sure Bruisin Ales meant well (they are good folks).

It went undrunk. I'm sure the Bruisin' Ales folks didn't mean to foist an undrinkable keg of "malt beverage with peach flavoring", but that's what happened. Fortunately, the stalwart souls at BlogAsheville didn't let that deter them from getting their drink on. Folks made beer runs, and many brought liquor and wine to share.

My wrap up is that my grandmother is in the hospital once again, she took a header in the bathroom of her nursing home on Friday evening, but seems to be okay and will be returning to that establishment tomorrow.
Sorry guys, I missed you all.
I am sure you missed me... not.

Sorry that our "keg of bullshit" went undrunk. Y'all were delivered a special and limited release by Dogfish Head. It was quite popular in the store. It was last minute, it was not cheap, and it cost us money. So there it is. Surely we intended to offend the whole blog community, begging for the negative publicity for our store. We feel so welcomed and humbled. Cheers! Hopefully Brainshrub will return the keg so we can at least get our deposit back.
