My impression is that most there are on board with me that Young's facemelting, emotional version of "Cortez the Killer" was a highlight of an unforgettable show. Young moved effortlessly from VH1 singer-songwriter mode with acoustic guitar to hard, feedback-heavy rock and roll in full-on Crazy Horse mode.
He played the hits and wasn't going through the motions.

WNCW favorite Bert Jansch, an amazing acoustic guitarist stuck with the thankless job of opening for a towering rock and roll talent, was also great.
Thanks Bert and Neil for an unforgettable night.

Word from the internets is this whos was the longest encore and best show of the tour so far.
I was the crazy person down front screaming for "Heart of Gold" every chance I had...got him to play it too :-)
Show was AMAZING...encore was killer...loved hearing "Old Man" and so happy I got my song. Apologies to the people around me, but in my opinion, showing Neil some appreciation got us the great show.
I feel extremely lucky to have been at this show. I haven't seen Neil since I lived in St. Louis in the eighties. Plus he was in the town I currently live in and playing at a place where I saw Dylan several years ago. My highlight was "After the Goldrush" on organ and "I Believe in You" on the grand. "Cortez" was awesome and "Ohio" was very moving considering the date and history.
