Local bookstore helps Haiti Sat. Jan 16

From an email from Mr. K's Used Book Store, a regional chain with a location in Asheville. All Mr. K's locations are donating 10% of profits on Saturday, Jan. 16 to relief efforts in Haiti.

Help for Haiti

We at Mr. K's are deeply saddened by the recent events that have rocked Haiti. We have already made a $1000 donation to relief efforts but feel we can do more. Therefore, this Saturday, January 16, 10% of all sales at all four locations will be donated to help with this worthy cause. Our world has become increasingly small and what affects one affects all. Communities have always come together in times of need and this time, we feel sure, will be no exception. We appreciate your shopping with us and ask you to keep Haiti in your thoughts and prayers.
