The Vortex Cabaret is a biweekly series of live variety shows, held at the Boiler Room on 11 Grove Street. Every other Wednesday at 10 PM, the Vortex Cabaret features the best in cutting-edge music, dancing, comedy, puppetry, performance art, burlesque, and so much more.The next Cabaret is September 23rd. It will feature the bands Occuli and Traxx, DJ Carter Mitchel, comedian Joe Zimmerman, Kim the belly-dancer, and pole-dancer Cara Oshiver.
