AMP Christmas Gala Fundraiser tonight

Asheville Mural Project is having a Christmas Gala Fundraiser - Tonight, December 20th at 7pm at the YMI Cultural Center - Corner of Eagle and Market Streets

Music by solo cellist Adam Coffin, jazz ensemble Workin Otet, and performance by 13 members of the Asheville High School Choir.

Food by Lobster Trap, Table, Kubos Sushi, Barleys, Salsas/Chorizo, Marketplace, Laurey's, Mayfels, Carmels, Thai Basil, Havana Restaurant, Heiwa, Bouchon, MoDaddy's, Grey Eagle/Twin Cousins, Mela, Jerusalem Garden, New French bar, Zambra, Fresh Quarter, Red Bike Deli, Kilwins, True Confections, Early Girl Eatery.

Plus a live painting by mural artists and offerings of completed art by several local artists in support of the AMP. It should be a wonderful time and i hope to see you there!

The event went wonderfully, the place was packed and Molly gave a wonderful slideshow/history of the project. Special thanks to the good people at the YMI, Lydia See, the great restaurants that provided food and the wonderful musicians that gave it all great atmosphere.

I almost got the live painting for $230! Dang.
