Y'all Rock

Hiya bloggerati.

Thanks to the folks who visit here for their bloggy linkage goodness and for their Asheville goings-on whatnottery.

We've had over 5,000 visitors each month since January.

If your blog isn't on our radar, just email the Ruler at blogasheville@hotmail.com. He's sometimes slow, but it always gets done.

And if you're not cross-posting your goodies over here, why not? Anyone with an Asheville blog who's willing to follow a few simple rules can be a front-pager at BlogAsheville. Those of you who've been keeping the front page rolling, know that you rock.

What happened in January?

I'd read this blog even if I wasn't a contributor; in fact I did before I was.

Thanks to all the contributors, especially Gordon & "Admin" mystery blogger.

Yay for BlogAsheville!

Gordon,
What are the rules? I just signed up as a contributor. Thanks, H.

I believe they are roughly the same rules as the rules for Fight Club, except for maybe the part about talking about blogasheville, I think that is ok, so disregard rules 1 and 2, but the rest are apt.

Okay, I had to look this us, as all I remember from the movie was the cellulite. Rules:

1st RULE: You do not talk about FIGHT CLUB.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.

3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out the fight is over.

4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight.

5th RULE: One fight at a time.

6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.

7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at FIGHT CLUB, you HAVE to fight.

----

I think I can handle this ;)

Uptown Ruler has the written rules, but I think there's only a couple. They're along the lines of these:

- This is an inclusive community for folks from all walks and all political stripes of life.

- BlogAsheville doesn't do political advocacy. We do events and groups and such, but if you're looking to advocate a particular political position, take it to your home blog.

- Let folks stay at the top of the page for a little while (rarely a problem) before you bump'em down.

- No dirty pictures.

That's all I can think of...

Glad to hear you'll be front-paging. The more, the betterer.
