Holiday Fest at the Colburn Earth Science Museum

Tomorrow, boys and girls, is the annual Holiday Fest at the Colburn. What does this mean to me, you say? Well, it means that you can go downtown, enjoy free admission at one of the area's coolest unsung treasures, buy sweet handmade stuff from local artists and support the museum with your holiday dollars. Not to mention that the Colburn gift shop has some of the BEST stuff in Asheville with which to charm your children: dude. LIGHT UP TEETH; woo your sweetie: mood rings. $2.50. You can have more than one sweetie for that price; and show your boss: coal. Yeah, the Colburn sells lumps of coal and you know you know someone who needs one or two of those. Perhaps a politician or two. The possibilities are endless.

Holiday Fest is from 10 am to 5 pm tomorrow, Saturday, December 1 and it is THE place to do some Christmas shopping. See you there! Lower level of Pack Place.
