Dave Beckwith, aka Anonymoses Hyperlincoln, of the blog Anonymoses has said he's coming from Greensboro for the party. Dave's was recently voted Best Southern Blog, and he's the purveyor of uncommon literary wisdom.

The buzz is growing. Mister Sugar is talking about bringing a busload of people from the Triangle area.

Please, BlogAshevillains, choose a blog from our sidebar and email an invitation. I look forward to seeing all of the regulars plus a host of newbies.

Suggestions and ideas for the party belong in this comment thread...

Ohhh, I can't wait for this party. :)

Happy happy! Joy joy!

I've started pimping it on DemocraticUnderground, and I'll start talking about it on my own blog soon.

A busload from the Triangle? I knew it. It's going to be just like Woodstock. People abandoning their cars on the roads and hiking into Edgy's PNAV. Vats of Kesey Koolaid. Can we set up a naked mudslide? Maybe we'll see the birth of the first BlogAsheville baby.

Brilliant Photoshop that's just begging to be put on a t-shirt...or maybe a koozie. Looking forward to finally meeting you all on the 17th.

Also, if anyone can't make this one, then Jaybird & I are hosting a huge metafilter/metachat meetup here the first weekend in August, so there will be another blogawoggadiggadogga party ON DOWN thingie then too. You heard it here first. In other news, yeah, I will totally be at this one too.

Uhhhh, did someone say bus?

Okay, guys, all are welcome but you may have to park at Grace Covenant Church on Merrimon and walk up the street, kay?

I've had four or five requests for directions so far.

And I want clean-up commitments for Sunday. E-spouse is leaving early Sunday, so we can't leave the scut work to him!
