BlogAsheville's monthly somethin'-somethin' and Freedom March is coming up on October 28th. As of now we don't have a proper title or a proper venue for the gathering. Use this as a thread to figure out what's what. Also, try to answer the following questions:
Will Edgy Mama have yet another out-of-town engagement?
Will Brian Hopkins arrive before nine?
Will Johnny Lemuria, the orange-shirted blogenthusiast of Temple of the New Flesh, come again even though the last try was fruitless?
Will the groupies that attended last time grow or shrink in number?
Will we finally see some of the lurking wallflowers on the blogroll?
When are you going to be able to go into a store and get what you want with your good looks?

EM will be there.
BH will not arrive before nine.
Johnny, because of the holiday's proximity, I suggest we all attend in costume--should make us easy to spot.
We have groupies? Cool.
Re: Wallflowers: EM does have three friends-- occasional A'ville blogger--whom I'll invite to see if we can inspire them to consistency.
In order to get what you want based on good looks, you have to dress the part, Screwy. I have the perfect outfit in mind for you.
How about we meet at the Asheville Brewing Company on Coxe? Lots of room, inside and out, not crowded, good beer. Just a suggestion.
Asheville Brewing Co. sounds great to me.
It'll be good to see you again, AF, and drag your blogflowers along with you.
asheville brewing company is good....
now for a name of the gathering...
I swear that every once in a while I leave a comment here that never fricking shows up--weird.
How about Ash Vegas Costume Ball and Beer Guzzler?
Oh, and Asheville Brewing has wireless now! As do I!
FWIW, I am having a party on Thursday, October 27. You are all invited. It is a dinner and pumpkin carving party. Email me - it's in the profile on the blog - for directions.
I'm more partial to costume guzzler and beer ball
...or...
ball guzzler and beer costume
But if you're looking for four benign words that sound distasteful no matter which combination one uses them in...
milk sweat shake ball
Go ahead...try it.
I nominate BlogHain and Freedom March
disco, crisco, naked twister and rum party?
thks for invite, goth!
Wasn't JL reported to be wearing a green shirt?
I'll have to come back to this post in a bit and put in my two cents...
I might be able to make it... I'll check my daytimer.
"bloghain"... heh heh heh
"dia de los mentos" might be fun as well.
Feast of Souls, Bloggy Style
Just kidding. I'm not very good at the name thing. I'm game for where ever. I don't think I've ever been to the Brewing Company on Coxe. I trust EM's judgement.
Goth, Were you suggesting a blog party meets Hangover House fusion? That might be fun too.
I don't care, just as long as I can get a babysitter and wear a tutu.
Can't make it, going to Bryson City to take the tourist train, trout fish and see if there are any chicken fighters over there. Also heard about a cool outdoor fishing gear sale at a place called NOC with blue grass music and american food! Gotta check it out!
Hey Tea,
I'll be in a tutu as well. Should we coordinate?
I take it you found the costume featured at your site?

It sounds like we're agreed?

i'll bring my sister. she is royalty. her name is Chimay Omegang Allagash the Third.
but i like the Ashvegas Ball Guzzling and Tutu Tiperary thing, too
I can't vote!!! I can't decide! I've been staring at this post all day and I just can't decide on one.
Mine, of course, was a horrible joke.
I think that out of all of the nominations that these two actually have something to do with what we'll all be doing. Though, do the titles ever really match?
Ash Vegas Costume Ball and Beer Guzzler
(Though this one wasn't actually on the ballot...I like it.)
All BlogHallow's Eve Beatnik Brew and Autumn Ale Ween
EM, If all goes as planned, I'll be in a pink tutu with red tights, red wings and, of course, any other last minute faerie embellishments I may pick up.
Costume, Beer, and Ball Guzzler it is!
Oh Tea, I don't actually have a tutu. But your costume sounds great!
I'm going to dive into the kids' costume box and see if I can come up with something...
I thought it may have been a joke - but I just didn't know. Better play it safe and risk being silly than to be rude.
Are you kidding, Tea? I love to play dress-up. I'm thrilled that you'd consider it as well. Particularly as I doubt any of the guys will be creative or uninhibited enough to come in costume(yes, that's a challenge).
Consider me costumed.
bah humbug, oh wait that's christmas, blech!
Oh, goody! This shall be fun. I can't wait to see what blogashevillians come dressed as.
