... Come on down Patton toward West A! We have a stunning array of architectural landmarks, a festive lineup of fast food chains, miniature golf, pawn shops, dilapidated shopping malls and fascinating billboards. My all-time favorite feature being, none other than, Harry's American Indian statue, poised upon the hillside, ready to greet all passersby with a warm welcome...

Thanks, MF. I feel better already.
I keep waiting for that big ol' statue to get possessed by the spirit of some long-dead Sewali Indian and come marauding down the hillside, stomping on Jeep Cherokees and kicking the cruisers to the curb.
Ah, the Jeep Cherokee. What an ironic name for a motorized vehicle. I would very much like to see your vision come to light, Screwy.
yeah... "INDIAN MAD!!! INDIAN SMASH!!!"
He's not alone, our Indian guy.
Great link, Felicity! There's a web page for everything.
wow! i remember seeing this guy nearly every weekend as a kid!
that golf course was near the goodyear blimp landing strip, and every so often if i was lucky i'd get to see both of them!
(hey, i was a kid - little things like that excited me)
sigh, growing up in alabama, all we had to get excited about was vulcan in b'ham and watertowers.
