Modern Peasant wonders if you're coming to the Autumn Cotillion and Freedom March at The Usual Suspects on Friday, September 30 at 7pm. Actually, go read his site to find out what he is wondering in this picture. Or just ask him when you see him.
h has to work friday night, but if i'm lucky i might be able to talk her into dropping me off there. if this week truly is as bad as it's shaping up to be, i'll surely need to get my drink on.
i might even wear patchouli, but i'm afraid that car wouldn't show up... because he doesn't like filthy hippies, see.
thanks for the offer, screwy - i think that it's within reasonable stumbling distance from the usual suspects to my abode, but in case it's raining or there are an unusual amount of cops on merrimon or something i might take you up on it!
Despite societal approbations to the contrary, there's nothing wrong with bringing children to a reputable bar. I'll buy 'em a Shirley Temple and a Roy Rogers and pepper them with sparkling social commentary.

Speaking of the gathering, who will be there? All I've read so far are regrets. Anyone?
Screwy, is your lovely wife going to attend this one?
i'll be there, no regrets, looking forward to good company.
I think Mrs. Hoolie will be there, yes.

I probably can't make it - kid obligations - but if it's at all possible, I'll be there.
Felicity,
