Flash fiction blog?

Edgy Mama, perhaps a bit high on psuedoephedrine and the praise of California agents, thinks we should start a flash fiction blog in Ashvegas. What do you all think? Anyone interested?

Maybe we don't have to create a different blog - maybe it can be done through BlogAsheville. I don't know.

And is there enough writer interest? Wait. We're in Ashvegas. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting an aspiring artist.

What is flash fiction? I don't have a definition, but to me, it's an even shorter version of a short story, made to be easily read on the Web/computer. I have no idea who started it, or how popular it is, but I have seen it on a number of blogs.

Anyway, just throwin' it out there. What do you think?

Let's start another blog, absolutely. Who wants to put it together?

Flash fiction sounds fun. I'll take it for a spin.

i'm for it. been trying for years to get some folks together to write a sentence or paragraph, then someone else writes one, etc to "see what happens".

Hey y'all,
I've been throwing lots of ideas around about this--and I'm happy to do most of the organizational work.

The most important thing I've learned is that the "editors" have to have some creds to make a fiction blog work. Mine are debatable, but what the hell?

One of the hot new on-line zines at the moment is called Flash Me. Check it out if you're interested. Enviro-spouse's idea for a name for our FF blog? Flashville.

I'll have to go check it out. Haven't heard of FF but it sounds interesting.

I'm loving Flashville.

Get your cred out, and get your blog on, Edgy Mama. Count me in until y'all decide I ought to stick to snarky political reportage.
